N.W. Military Vehicle Trust Rocker box racer

Rocker box racer

The North West International Rocker Box Racing Championship The North West international rocker box race night will be on the 7th March (2024) club night, (subject to confirmation).
For anyone not familiar with this debacle, for one night only we will throw away all the normal gentile club night behaviour and become children again. All you need to enter is a child’s skate board with an engine rocker box nailed on. The more adventurous can build their own chassis and wheels etc. which may take many hours.
We are also going to run two additional classes:
1/ A military vehicle lookalike class
2/ A Block or Smoothing Plane class (from the old woodworking shops), there are quite a lot of these still around, unlike the British rocker boxes which are now drying up..
Cheers for now Ed Burke
